Introduction to Computer Applications for Business

What's new:  .

The new due dates for assignments are as follows:
JavaScript 3 and JavaScript 4 are both due before your recitation in the week of March 28.
Spreadsheets 1 and Spreadsheets 2 are both due before your recitation in the week of April 4.
All other due dates will remain the same.
If you have already submitted JavaScript 3, you are permitted to re-submit at any time up to the new due date.
E-handin boxes will be modified accordingly within the next few days.Please note my new Lab Support hours mentioned below. Also please mail me on gautamb@paul.rutgers.edu only.  Webdrive Software available here.

 Your assignment must be submitted to the correct e-handin box before the beginning of your recitation in the week that it is due; unless the assignment specifies otherwise, no emailed assignments will be accepted.  PLEASE NOTE:  Ehandin boxes close at the start of recitation.  This time is defined as the time on the e-handin server.  Your watch, clock, or local computer's time may vary from the server time; however,the server time is definitive.  Students are advised not to wait until the last minute to attempt submissions. You may submit your assignment asmany times as you want before the handin box closes. Only the last copy submitted will be retained. After submission, you will get a receipt. Please print it out and hand it in during recitation.


Exams:

There will be two hourly exams, and Excel exam and a final exam. The Fall 2004 exam schedule is as follows:
Exam#1:         Tuesday Feb 22 9:10-10:30 pm
Exam#2:         Wednesday, April 13, 9:10-10:30pm
Excel exam:   Week of April 24 during recitation
Final Exam:    Monday, May 9, 4:00-7:00 pm

TA Extra Credit:
10 points of extra credit will be assigned by the TA. Criterion for these points will be announced soon.


Software Extra Credit:
The software applications extra credit assignment is a 10 point (out of a maximum possible 500) exercise using software not included in thecourse requirements which the student chooses and completes on his/her own. There are software packages from which the student can choose.
