Welcome,
It is with great pride and privilege that we welcome you
to a glimpse of the Amazona Chapter of MU SIGMA UPSILON
SORORITY, INC., the first chapter of this organization known
to many as THE MOTHERLAND. Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc.
is the 1st Multicultural Greek-Letter Society in the Nation
and is proud to encourage and exemplify unity among all
women, academic excellence, and service to the university
and community.
The Amazona Chapter is proud to be a recipient the most
recent Chapter Excellence Award, given by the Office of
Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, as it has been continuously
for years. We are also proud to be ranked as a Category-One
organization of Rutgers University. The Amazona Chapter
makes a constant effort to be the most successful, proactive,
and truly diverse organization on campus and throughout
all of MSU.
Since its inception in 1981, MU SIGMA UPSILON SORORITY,
INC. has expanded across the nation spreading the definition
of strong, independent, and empowered women, establishing
the true meaning of an Amazon woman.
As you tour this website, you shall encounter the many
aspects and strengths of our true, lifelong bond of sisterhood.
Our sisterhood forms bonds across races, religions, creeds
and other differences that define our individuality and
diversity.
We hope that you will enjoy your visit and find all the
