MSU History

On the 21st of november, nineteen hundred and eighty one, at the university of rutgers...
five women came together to form an organization uniting all women...
The first organization to promote awareness and appreciation...
of each individual's diverse heritage ...
the first multicultural sorority ...
through hard work, dedication, and discipline, a sisterhood was born...
and from our founding mothers the development of an enduring bond was made...
a bond based on unity, love, and respect...
an organization set out with the ideals of achieving academic aspirations
leadership and involvement
within the university and community
unity amongst women of all races, colors, and creeds
here, at rutgers university is where it all began ...
the birthplace, the motherland...
a collection of many women, whose diverse heritage is a source of strength ...
a sisterhood to be proud of ...
a standard that no one can compare to ...
