One of Those TV Interview Shows

John Heward

Madame Motley said
the boundaries are down
now that life is so complicated;
and if you would think
of the new theater and new music--
and the nouveaux riches--you
might find them old too...
But that was a remarkable bit
of journalism anyway like
when what's-his-name,
the newscaster, thought
that the story of creation
was written in four hundred words.
If a complex breaks free
is it easier, then, to be simple?
