The Bahá'í club holds a variety of special programs.  Join the mailing list to receive notification.


ImageThis Friday, April 20th the Baha'i Campus Association invites you and your friends to a showing of "The Secret" in the graduate student lounge of the Busch Campus Center. The Secret is on Amazon.com's bestseller list and was featured on the Oprah show a little awhile back. Dinner (catered from Gerlandas) will start at 7 pm and the movie begins at 7:30 pm. Please RSVP if you can. Thank you!

The Secret is a feature length movie presentation which reveals The Great Secret of the universe. It has been passed throughout the ages, traveling through centuries... Firesides

Firesides are information gatherings that are open to all who are interested in the Bahá'í Faith.  Each fireside usually focuses on a specific topic, but questions are always welcome.


General Meetings

General meetings are open to all who are curious about the Bahá'í Faith.   Meetings are held in the Rutgers Busch Campus Center on Monday nights at 7:45 pm during the semester.  Email bahai@eden.rutgers.edu for details.


Past Programs

  • Ayyam-i-Ha Dinner The Rutgers BCA is sponsoring an Ayyam-i-Ha Dinner on Feb. 25th at 6:30 pm in the graduate student lounge of the Busch Campus Center. Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship and really great food for free! Feel free to bring your friends. This will be a great time to see everyone in the community since the semester can get really busy.
  • Birth of Baha'u'llah The Rutgers Baha'i Campus Association will be hosting the Commemoration of the Birth of Baha'u'llah in the Douglass Campus Center, NJC Lounge on November 12, 2006. The program is open to Rutgers students, staff faculty and their guests Program begins at 2 pm and dinner will be served afterwards.
  • Tranquility Zone
  • Wednesday, December 8, 2004, 8:00 PM, Rutgers Busch Campus Center, Graduate Student Lounge
    • All are invited to an interfaith gathering to for a night of peace and quiet in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Passages and inspirational quotes will be provided to all attendees. All are also welcome to bring their own readings. Refreshments will be served.
  • Prayers for World Unity
  • Monday, April 28, 2003, 8:00 PM, Rutgers Student Center, Room 413
    • All are welcome to an interfaith devotional gathering for world unity. A selection of readings about unity from different faiths will be presented, and all are welcome to bring their own readings.
  • The Global Campaign to Eradicate Gender Violence
  • Wednesday, February 5, 8:00 PM, Trayes Hall, Douglass Student Center
    • Dr. Michael Penn, a distinguished speaker and Professor of Psychology at Franklin & Marshall College and Affiliate Professor of Psychology at Landegg International University, will deliver this lecture and be available for questions.  Refreshments will be served, and your support is appreciated!!
  • Spring Involvement Fair

    • The Bahá'í Club will have a table with information about next semester's events and lots of snazzy buttons, stickers, posters, etc.

    • Come to a discussion lead by Mr. Claude Chingwe and video presentation on "The Power of Race Unity".
  • Interfaith Prayers for Peace
  • Monday, November 25, 8:00 PM, Room 413, Rutgers Student Center
    • All are welcome to an interfaith prayer service for peace. A selection of readings about peace from different faiths will be presented, and all may bring their own readings, as well.
  • What is the Bahá'í Faith?

    • All are welcome to an interactive discussion of the main principles of the Bahá'í Faith.
  • Rutgers College Involvement Fair

    • Come to a talk about how geography is invoked in various religious texts and the way geography is imagined in the Bahá'í Faith as a world unifying force. The talk will be given by Bradley Wilson, a graduate student in the Department of Geography.

    • The Baha’is believe “The essential purpose of the religion of God is to establish unity among mankind.” Come to hear this quote explained as well as a short history of the Baha’i Faith.
