In 1996, a group of Coptic students saw a need for an on-campus fellowship to meet with one another and discuss experiences that they all shared. These students went on to be founders of Coptic Orthodox Fellowship, a support group that offers students the opportunity to reflect on themselves and receive advice from other students encountering similar experiences.
Now, well into its 13th year of service by God's grace, COF is a large student-based organization developed to help and serve all individuals of the Rutgers community cope with the everyday difficulties of college life. With our main focus and goal, our Lord Jesus Christ, we strive to aid each other in overcoming our spiritual and academic struggles. We also aim to serve by informing the Rutgers Community of the depth of the Coptic Church through various events. By having open doors and a casual environment, we can reach out to those at Rutgers and, as a result, develop beneficial friendships that prevail over lifetimes.
