RFA – Meeting #3 October 19, 2005

Attendance - Dennis Smirnov, Robert Allison, Ryan Lasch, Ken Farber, Victor, Tim, Steve, Darien

Notes – Dennis Smirnov addressed future speakers that are in the works. He also asked for people to go to the Allentown gun show. We have 7 to 8 members who are thinking of going. Plans are to leave around 10am and come home later that night. Ryan brought up an idea for t-shirts to show RFA legitimacy, and to hopefully gain support at random events. By-Laws will be drafted at next meeting. Dennis described how the Action Shooting competitions at Old Bridge work. Any beginners please contact him.

NJGUNS invited us for a weekend of shooting for tips, pointers, safety, etc. If interested, please sign up on website.

Bob will look in to our allocations and when we can use the money. Also, we need to find out how to accept donations under by-laws or etc.

Events – November 19^th (20^th rain date) for Allentown gun show.

- October 21, 2005 – 6:30PM - Action Shooting at Old bridge. There are two more open spaces for Dennis to take. Please email dsmirnov@eden.rutgers.edu if you are interested.

General Welfare and Plans – A possible idea for future marketing is to have RFA t-shirts to wear to events, ranges, and in general public. Possible contest for t-shirt will be posted online. Come up with a creative design for our new RFA t-shirts; just keep it respectable.

Carry and conceal permit, through Florida, will be researched for information and possible acquirement by our members.
