Lin Yang is a Ph. D candidate in the graduate program in ECE department in Rutgers University and works under the guidence of Dr. Peter Meer in Rutgers University and Dr. David J. Foran in UMDNJ. He has advanced training in computer vision, image/signal processing and machine learning. He has been working in RIUL and CBII since spring, 2004.

He is working on the different areas of computer vision such as the development of robust image segmentation, detection and tracking algorithms. He is also work on the design and development of content based image and video retrieval, 3D medical image analysis, such as detection, segmentation and registration. He enjoys hiking, swimming and soccer.
