Lin Yang is a Ph. D candidate in the graduate program in Electrical and Computer Engineering in Rutgers University and works under the guidence of Dr. Peter Meer in the ECE department of Rutgers University and Dr. David J. Foran in UMDNJ. He has advanced training in computer vision, image/signal processing and computer science. He has been working in RIUL and CBII since spring, 2004.

He is working on the different areas of computer vision such as the development of robust image segmentation algorithms, on the design and development of intelligent image databases, mutiple class object recognition/segmentation and machine learning for medical image/data analysis. He enjoys hiking, swimming and soccer.
