the plot:
Friday, the conference ended with a half day of talks. Afterwards, a handful of us grabbed lunch together before going our separate ways.
Since Cathy and I both had morning flights out of Glasgow, we spent our afternoon on another 2.5 hour cabride back to the city. Ironically our driver was the girlfriend of the driver we had on Sunday, and she made for a good chat most of the way there. Once in Glasgow, we walked a little, but mostly just stopped for dinner at Cafe Gandolfi. It's a cute little place and the food was fantastic. It's interesting to read the restaurant history on the link two sentences ago. :P After that, it was a way too short night of sleep before heading out again in the morning.

where to next?
since cathy had more trouble waking up on time with the time zone change than i did, we agreed that i'd knock on her door mid morning each day. If she was up before I knocked, she left me a note on the door. This is the complete collection, getting slightly more dramatic each day :)
