Alhamdulillah, after reviewing numerous applications, and discussing it with the shura, we would like to announce that we have chosen the individuals for the Committee Heads. We chose the applicants based on their experience, knowledge, and how dedicated they are, and how reliable the individuals are in keeping up with their tasks and responsibilities. Respective positions and the individuals names are listed below..

• Brothers Activities: Br. Imtiaz Kazmi
• Da`wah Vice-Chairs: Br. Anoop Johari & Sr. Yumna Siddique
• Community Service: Sr. Nismah Sarmast
• Public Relations: Sr. Nena Marshall
• Finance/Fundraising: Sr. Sidra Enver

Alhamdulillah we have a group of qualified and dedicated individuals who are leading these roles, and insha'Allah they will be able to carry out their roles and responsibilities.

Remember, you don't need a title or a position to do things or lead activities in the MSA. A leader's determination and motivation does not come from position, but instead from hard work, enthusiasm and wisdom. If you truly want to see a change in the MSA, help it go towards the right direction, want to see more activities, more events, etc., then you will work with or without a title. Working in the MSA, we don't work for the title or the position, because these things are only temporary, rather we work for Allah (SWT). Our intentions, and our efforts should be only for Him and none but Him.

Therefore, we ask all of you to help us -- whether you have a position or not. The Shura and the Committee Heads can only do so much for the MSA. The rest depends on you -- the members. Thus, insha'Allah next year we expect each and everyone of you to help RU-MSA, and take it to heights and levels where no other MSA has gone before, bi'dnillah.

Once again, we encourage all dedicated brothers and sisters to participate on these committees, and with the RU-MSA in general. Jazaakum Allahu khayr!
