ABOUT CCF
CCF is a ministry whose purpose is to know God and make him known to those who don't know him, starting in the Rutgers Community. We need to be grounded in the Word of God and in fellowship with other believers to be built up, encouraged, and energized in our faith. CCF is only a ministry and its purpose is not to replace a church, but rather be a supplement to it. Come join us every Wednesday at 9:30 pm in SERC 111!

OUR VISION: GOSPEL-CENTERED LIVING
Building up spiritual movements on campus as a fellowship through the love of Christ so that everyone may know the Good News.

Vision Verse
2For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
     1 Corinthians 2:2-5

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that there is but one God who created the universe who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ as God our Savior, being both fully human and divine, was crucified and raised to life, sacrificing Himself for the atonement of our sins. Through Him, all who believe have forgiveness of sin and gain access to God our Father through Him. We believe in the Holy Spirit as the indwelling presence and transforming power given to all believers as well as in the authority of the Holy Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God.

ABOUT CCF
What is CCF?
CCF stands for Chinese Christian Fellowship; it is a ministry whose purpose is to know God and make him known to those who don't know him, starting in the Rutgers community.

It is an outreach and seeker-sensitive ministry:
Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). Jesus calls Christians to be His witnesses and to be a light to a dark world. For this reason, CCF is an outreach ministry. Our desire is to introduce people to God through our outreach events and large group meetings, in the hope that they might find the answers (about God) for which they are searching.

It is an inreach ministry:
Before we can introduce people to Christ, we need to be grounded in the Word of God (the Bible) and in fellowship with other believers to be built up, encouraged, and energized in our faith. CCF has various small groups, a mentoring program for underclassmen, prayer meetings, and large group meetings to cater to these needs.

It is not just another social gathering:
By definition, the purpose of a social gathering is getting to know people. CCF is a gathering of people for the purpose of getting to know God first and then to know and care for other people. While there are many friendships that are made at CCF, these are secondary to the relationship we have with God.

It is not a church:
CCF is only a ministry and its purpose is not to replace the church, but to be a supplement to it. The ministry is comprised of people who attend many different churches. We encourage people to attend a local church and to be fed there as well. Here is a list of some of the local churches and their contact information.

CCF is composed of these elements and by the grace of God, we hope to press on in the call He has for our fellowship and as Christians.
