March 28 Women's Fair
There
will be a women's fair in Trayes Hall of the Douglass Student Center
from 7-10 pm. It will include speakers,
presentations,
tabling, and of course food and entertainment. Come to learn
about the wide variety of resources
and services
available to women at Rutgers, or just come to hang out! NOW will
be there the whole time, feel free
to stop by our table.
April 2
Rutgers
Spring Feminist Conference
Join us at the Ruth Dill Johnson Crockett Building on Douglass campus
for a 3rd wave conference! Co-sponsored
with NOW New
Jersey, GenderPAC, Lesbian and Bisexual Womyn in Action (LABIA), and
the Women's Center.
Topics include
privilege and the feminist movement, action plan sharing, transgender
rights, and clinic escort
training. The
event is from 10 am - 4 pm and is free! Lunch
will be served.
April 18- Tent State University
22 We will be camping out and protesting out
on Voorhees with many other progressive student groups. The main
topic this
year is the way in which the war in Iraq is affection our education
through budget cuts. Of course
there will be tabling and protesting
about
many other issues as well. For more information, visit
