Has over 26 years of corporate experience including key human resource leadership roles with RCA/GE, Manufacturers Hanover Trust and Schering-Plough. His key research and teaching interests include leadership and organization development, new product development team effectiveness, business strategy, talent acquisition and retention, succession planning and learning. In addition, he has broad business skills as an HR generalist encompassing the areas of labor relations and organization effectiveness. He is a member of SHRM, ASTD, Metropolitan Association of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Planning Society and an International Quality and Productivity guest speaker.

Tania Monteiro, President

Tania Monteiro has over 10 years of international experience in Operations, Business Development and Human Resources. Her current roles are HR oriented, and areas of expertise include human capital development & relations, talent acquisition & retention, and business strategy. Tania holds a graduate degree from the Superior Institute for Languages & Administration (ISLA, Portugal), and has worked internationally for large corporations such as Siemens Corp., United Stationers Co., and Telvent. She is fluent in four languages. Tania is currently in the second year of her Master Degree in Human Resources Management, and is working for IBM in the University Recruiting team on US-based projects and global HR issues.

Sahana Naresh is a Master's student pursuing Human Resource Management at the School of Management and Labor Relations. She joint the leadership team as a project manager for the Operations team and is currently the Co-President of RU SHRM. Sahana completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and has worked with a Management Consulting firm prior to joining Rutgers.

Jyoti Yagnik, Co-President

Jyoti is a graduate student in the second semester in the MHRM program. She also has a masters degree in business administration majoring in HR and finance. Jyoti has business experience of six years, having managed her own business in the hospitality industry. Jyoti has also worked as a HR professional in the financial services industry for more than two years . She is a student member of SHRM. Her major work interests are in the fields of leadership development, Compensation and Global HR.
