Welcome to a quick course in Hindi, the official language of the Republic of India. This is a very basic course for those who might want to gain some familiarity before a tour or just anybody who might be interested in learning a new language.

Included are instructions for some common conversations, a list of common vocabulary and basic concepts of grammar. A very short history of the development of the language and names of areas (in India and outside) where it is currently spoken have been added to complete the overview.
