Sorry that there haven't been any updates in a while. The first
meating that we tried to have after Jonathan and I broke up ended in
disaster. We finally had one in conjunction with Gabe birthday last
September, but things haven't been going swimmingly. Our apartment is
terrible to try to grill at, but we're looking for a new, more
suburban place now. In any case, check out Hats of Meat in the mean time.
- Now that the site is up and running, please feel free to email me with ways to improve it (please keep in mind that there are some things I want to change still, so be gentle). Mail me if you want to start a chapter. Mail me if you have suggestions on venues or preparation techniques. Mail me if you want to come to the next meating. Mail me if you want to say hi. Get the hint?
- Check this site for more info on the next meating.

Since this site has been up, we have had three impromptu meatings, and added a few new members :) We have a date set for the next meating. The Outback has been chosen as the venue, and if you are interested in coming, email me and I'll reply with the date and time.

Ok, so we never had the meating that was scheduled because I had to go to Pennsylvania. And we haven't rescheduled because marching band is taking up *a lot* of time for several of the members. *BUT* there is something I have to share with everyone. On Tuesday night I went out with Jonathan to a new restaurant in downtown New Brunswick called Soho on George. It is a bit pricey and aimed at the theater crowd rather than the college crowd, but I had the best piece of meat I have ever had in my entire life ! I had the grilled filet mignon and the Guinness braised rib tips, and the filet mignon just melted in my mouth. It was incredible. If you have $50 to drop for dinner one night, you must try it. Also, Jonathan had a wonderful dish of pan-roasted duck, and the breast meat was literally falling off the bone. We both thoroughly enjoyed our respective meats.

Our next meating will either be on Thursday, 10/29 or Thursday 11/5. The problem with the first date is that it is Jonathan's birthday and I'm not sure if he wants to have a full-blown meating or not. It will probably be the second date, but either way we will meet at my apartment around 7:30 and proceed to the Outback. If you want to come email me so I can have an approximate count.

I have added a section entitled Opinions. I haven't had time to make a gif yet so the link will be here for now. The first one to send me anything was Rob Bowell. If you have an opinion about meat (and it must be pro meat) you can send it to me and I will add it to the page.

We have had two meatings in the last month. The first was a trip to the Outback with Jonathan. The meat was decent, but I was not impressed at all. It really wasn't what I was expecting. The second meating was a trip to a restaurant called Arthur's Tavern (there is a review in the venues section). We picked up a new member that day :)

So I am a lazy bitch and don't really have much time to update this
page. But, a recent meat experience lead me to update. Last night I
had a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. The review for it
is up on the venues page, as well as reviews for two other venues.
Additionally, we have new chapter through a new member! All I
know about her is that her name is Jen and she is from Minnesota. She
sent me email like you should do.
The opinions expressed on this web site are my opinions and not necessarily those of any other members.
