Early life: Teresa Ku was born in Taiwan and she moved to Hong Kong when she was one year old. She went to the local school there until she was nine years old. She then moved to the United States in order to persue a better education.
Teresa graduated from Livingston High School in 2008 during which she participated in numerous school activities such as track and Wind symphony. Teresa won various awards throughout high school in areas such as sports, fine arts and music. She currently studies at Rutgers University, majoring in Art in the Mason School of Arts.
Being able to move to different countries throughout her life, Teresa is able to be fluent in three languages--Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Her professional goal is to be able to work for a corporate design company where she is able to work with others to solve issues in society. After being used to moving to different places, Teresa hopes to continue her passion of traveling around the world. Her interests include learning new cultures and exploring difference countries. She also enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends and shopping for clothes.
Favorite Work Place
Teresa's favorite work place would be in her room because it is the place where she feels the most comfortable. She loves to work in her room because that is the place where she has all her supplies and it is the place where she will not be disturbed. She tends to work on her bed because she feels that she is able to stretch out her body while she works. It is also easier for her to work on her bed because she can just sleep when she gets tired of working.
Favorite Book to Read
Teresa's favorite book to read is "Angels and Demon" by Dan Brown. Dan Brown's fictional story about Symbologist Robert Langdon is full of mysteries and action. This book is one of Teresa's favorite because Dan Brown often write about secret societies and their intricate goals and conspiracies. Teresa loves this book because it is easy for the readers to get into the book. It is almost as if the reader is right next to Robert Langdon, following his every moves and anticipating his every moves. She also loves how this book uses the idea of a historical conflic between science and relgion, particularly that between the Illuminati and the Roman Catholic Church.

Visit Taiwan!This site provides tourism information about the island Taiwan. It provides information about the history, facts, maps, culture, transport and weather in Taiwan. Lonely Planet gives its own opinion on what the best attractions are in Taiwan. The number one place to visit in Taiwan is Taipei capital. The fact that I frequently visit Taiwan, I think it is quite accurate that the site has selected Taipei City as its top pick attraction for Taiwan. The site also includes latest news about what's going on in Taiwan from BBC News. It contains excerpts of personal blogs that describe tourists' experiences in Taiwan. Not only does this site provides information, it also gives viewers the option of looking for hotels and flight deals if they ever wanted to travel to Taiwan.
Chic Fashionista
Bohemian Style!This particular site describes a specific style of fashion which is Bohemian fashion. According to this site, bohemian fashion is "a casual mix of hippie, ethnic, gypsy and vintage elements." This site tells viewers about the celebrities who often wear clothing that are considered to be Bohemian such as Sienna Miller and Nicole Richie. This site seems more personal than informational because the author uses first person when creating this particular site. Personally, I very much like this style because it is simple and comfortable. Yet at the same time, this style is different and unique. Also this style often uses the same color pallete in terms of cool colors such as blues, greens, blacks and whites. All of which are colors that I usually wear. The site also give viewers examples of different types of Bohemian clothing and accessories such as jewelry, shoes, pants and dresses. Each type of clothing and accessory that the author provides contain its price, brand and link to where to get it online.
Painter of the Royal Court
Diego Velazquez!This site is all about Diego Velazquez who was a famous Spanish painter that became the lead artist in the court of King Philip IV. He was considered to be the epitome of Baroque style art. This site gives an extensive collection of Velazquez's paintings from one of his most famous painting "Las Meninas" to one of his many court paintings such as "Infante Felipe Prospero". Diegovelazquez.org also provides a general biography of Diego to which the biography is broken up to different periods of his life. Diego Velazquez is considered to be one of my favorite artists because of his intense realistic portrayal of the people in the paintings. He also uses a lot of intense darks and lights in order to express the subjects in his paintings. Most of his paintings are also very detailed and the composition of his paintings are mostly simple but still conveys a powerful message. Finally, this site contains various links that provides viewers with additional information about Diego Velazquez.
