Teresa Ku
Personal
Teresa was born in Taiwan but she grew up in Hong Kong. She then moved to New Jersey when she was about nine years old. Because she moved around to different places, she is able to speak multiple languages such as English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She loves to travel to different countries and she loves to learn about new cultures.
In her spare time, Teresa enjoys watching movies. Her favorite film as of right now is "Saving Private Ryan" for its intense and realistic battle scenes. When she is not watching movies, she is watching the NBA games where she roots for her favorite NBA team, Boston Celtics.
Education
Teresa graduated from Livingston High School in 2008 and is currently a sophmore at Mason Gross School of the Arts in Rutgers University. She is studying graphic design and is hoping to receive her BFA in 2012. Besides studying art, Teresa is also taking Chinese classes in order to brush up her skills in reading and writing in Chinese.
She is currently taking a web authoring class where she has been learning about basics of HTML, CSS and other web page elements. Her progress for this class can be seen through her webpages such as a simple biography page, a further reading page and a 'End of the World' gallery page (A page describing what the end of the world would entail).
Looking into the Future
Teresa hopes to work at a design firm after graduating from college. If she does not find a job based on this terrible economy, she will probably enroll in graduate school and continue to get high education.
If all else fails, Teresa hopes to travel around the world and afterwards settle down in Japan. Japan is one of her favorite places in the world because her favorite food is Japanese cuisine. Also, she loves fashion and Japan is one of the leading countries in setting awesome fashion trends.
